What Causes Hair loss in Men?

Think of DHT (dihydrotestosterone) as a super-charged version of testosterone.

While it’s essential for male development, it can become your hair’s worst enemy.

In men genetically prone to hair loss, hair follicles on the scalp are sensitive to DHT. Over time, DHT binds to receptors in these follicles, causing them to shrink and weaken.
This process, known as miniaturization, progressively shortens the hair’s growth phase, leading to thinner, shorter hairs until the follicle can no longer produce hair at all.
